Gerald Fried

Gerald Fried is a composer and oboist, best known for composing the original Star Trek television series and writing the famous “Star Trek fight music.” He went to high school with Stanley Kubrick and began his career scoring five of his films in a row. Other notable television credits include Roots, Gilligan’s Island, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
